The Centre for Culture and Education at Seeon Monastery (Kloster Seeon) cordially invites you to:
PALAZZO ITALIANO

In connection with our 3rd wine festival the monastery of Seeon for a weekend will be transformed to a lively Palazzo with a bubbly mixture of German-Italian culture. Enjoy the variety of the south while strolling around the Mercato Italiano or enjoying the musical and cultural events.
This event will be organised in cooperation with our friends of
the Centro Interculturale Villa Palagione (Volterra),
Fattoria Lischeto (Volterra),
Azienda Agricola Casale (Certaldo),
Societa Dante Alighieri Traunstein,
Italian Tourist Office in Munich (ENIT),
Consorzio Volterra,
Cafe-Bistro Leuchtenberg,
the monastery shop,
Haus Rufiuns,
as well as the Tourist Information
centre Seeon-Seebruck.

incl. musical performances (Jazz), culinary events and a presentation of the Centro Interculturale Villa Palagione (Volterra).

We invite you to freshen up your Italian language skills during the weekend at Seeon Monastery: Language Course"Italiano Intensivo":
Saturday/ Sunday, 8 lesson hours in total;
Teacher: Paola Poli, Centro Interculturale Villa Palagione (previous knowledge needed)
Fee 20 € , 12 participants max.

Language Course "Surviving in Italy": Saturday, 11.30 am - 13.30 pm; Teacher: Maria Borné,Societŕ Dante Alighieri Traunstein (no previous knowledge needed) free entrance, 20 participants max.

The Center for Culture and Education at Seeon Monastery is located on a little peninsula, surrounded by the deep blue waters of Lake Seeon. The monastery was inhabited by Benidictine monks until 1803, today it hosts guests from all over the world for cultural events and seminaries. Being a member of the European organisation of intercultural and organisational centres (EBZ) Seeon Monastery for years has cultivated an active exchange of experiences with the Centro Interculturale Villa Palagione.
